Lara & Michel chose mid-August to celebrate their wedding at the breathtaking Domaine du Mont Leuze, overlooking the French Riviera.
What they didn’t choose — but fully embraced — was one of the biggest storms of the season.

All day long, the rain fell in sheets, thunder rolling over the hills, the kind of dramatic weather the Côte d’Azur rarely sees. But Lara & Michel are not the kind of couple shaken by a storm. They’re stylish, multicultural, and fiercely connected — him Vietnamese, her French — a duo whose love story began at Vatel in Switzerland and blossomed under the Mediterranean sun.

And then, just when no one expected it, the sky opened.

At the end of the afternoon, the clouds lifted, revealing a golden Riviera light only a storm can create — saturated colors, warm reflections, and an atmosphere charged with magic. It felt like the weather had been building up all day just to gift them this moment.

Their ceremony unfolded in this surreal glow, surrounded by their families and cultures woven together, full of joy, laughter, and electric emotion. The decor and florals burst with color — perfectly mirroring who they are: bold, vibrant, and beautifully unique.

From a dramatic storm to a spectacular sunset, Lara & Michel’s wedding became a true metaphor for their story:
